Opportunities and Postings

RBC
This scholarship is intended to support those Aboriginal students who have at least 2 to 4 years remaining in their current academic program. Scholarship recipients are selected primarily on the basis of personal and academic achievements, and individual financial need. Status Indians, Non-status Indians, Inuit and Mtis are welcome to apply.
Selected students will receive up to $4,000 per academic year for educational and living expenses for 2 to 4 years.

RBC
The following ten Aboriginal students from across Canada have been awarded scholarships by RBC this year. As winners of the RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program (ASAP), each of these students will receive $4,000 annually for their tuition and other education expenses. Since the launch of the RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program in 1992, 88 students have received this award, and over $1,000,000 in scholarship funds have been awarded.

Manitoba Hydro
This Years Recipients

The following four Aboriginal students from across Manitoba have been awarded the Manitoba Hydro-Generating Futures Bursary. As recipients of the bursaries, each of these students will receive $10,000 for their education expenses, and receive the option of summer employment this year.

During the 2009/2010 school year, Manitoba Hydro awarded 31 awards, bursaries or scholarships totaling $79,700 to Aboriginal students in Manitoba.
